Thailand and Malaysia

We LOVED the Perhentians, actually not sure even loved conveys how much we adored it there. We stayed on the smaller island. When we first arrived we stayed on Long Beach but HATED it, neither of us slept too well as there was a resturant just above us that was playing football late into the night. Next morning we promptly left there adn headed to Mira Beach, and dear god I almost cried when we arrived - so perfect! Just a little cove with four chalets and a gorgeous beach surrounded by jungle, we'd definitly found our paradise! The people that worked there were really friendly, especially a aguy called MJ. We had bonfires on the beach after watching spectacular sunsets. We both did one dive which was awesome, saw a huge green turtle and loadsa funky fish, we both want to do it again. Only downer on the islands was the small entourage of jellyfish that decided they liked our little beach, I got stung once (not nice, espec when I already have a fear of jellyfish) but we still managed to swim and snorkel to our hearts content.
